The Purpose of Site Council
The Mill Creek Valley Junior High/Middle School Site Council is a group of individuals committed to making positive things happen for young people in grades 5-8. Members of the Site Council represent teachers, parents, other school personnel and business/community. Meetings are held six times a year.
The primary purposes of the Site Council are to:

Provide advice and counsel to the school in evaluating performance, goals and objectives

Help determine methods which could be used by the school to meet goals and objectives

Serve as a liaison between school, school organizations, the community and the local BOE
-
Provide other assistance that the school may request
In addition, our Site Council members provide invaluable input and assistance with a variety of activities and events throughout the year.
