Being a Charger is more than just going to Wabaunsee High School. It is being part of a team where it doesn’t matter if it is a winning season or a losing season, you still stick together and never give up. It doesn’t matter how outsized or how out numbered you are, you always keep fighting until the game is over and the last second is up. It means having friends and teammates you will keep for the rest of your life. When other teams walk through the doors of our school, they may not be intimidated by our size or even our athletic talent, but they know that by the time the game is over we will have given it our all and never quit fighting. Be proud to be a Charger and be proud to know you gave it your all every time you played with the team.

Regional Wrestling Information
Regional Wrestling will be held at Rossville High School on February 19th & 20th. The pass gate will be located at the west doors of the gymnasium and will be clearly marked. Through these doors only we will
allow teams to enter and bring team coolers. A designated areawhere teams can set up coolers etc. and only team members will be allowed in these areas.
Parents and other patrons: NO coolers or outside food and drink will be allowed. Various meals are available
through the concession stand throughout the tournament, more information will follow. .

WHS Tennis Goes to State
The tennis team traveled to Kansas City on October 9th and 10th for regionals. Everybody played well but Alana and Brieanna were the only 2 to make it through to state, placing 4th at regionals. State will be held October 16th and 17th in Hays. Good luck!

The MS and JH staff celebrated the end of the first quarter with “Overall Day.” Several staff came dressed for the part. All staff sported “Overall…We’ve had a great quarter!” buttons. The 2009-2010 school year at MCV MS/JH is definitely off to a strong start.
