The Wamego Hospital Foundation is offering a $500 scholarship to a senior who will be pursuing a career in health care. Applications are available from Mrs. Morris. May 9, 2008 is the due date for the scholarships to be returned to the Foundation.
Wichita State University has sent information regarding their scholarship competition scheduled for next fall. Junior students interested in attending WSU need to make plans for this competition which requires admission to WSU by October 10, 2008. Contact Mrs. Morris or sharon.erwin@wichita.edu for more information.
Kansas Department of Transportation is sponsoring a Sobriety Rocks campaign aimed at underage drinking. Check out their website at www.sobrietyrocksks.net for downloadable videos and songs and contest registration.
Kaw Area Technical School has left packets of information in the counseling office for students that may be interested.
ACT Test Fee waivers are available in the counseling office for students that participate in the free or reduced lunch program or have other financial needs.
Students and parent that missed the financial aid meeting in December can pick up information in the counseling office.
