Local author reads to AES students
Alma Elementary’s preschool through second graders got to meet local children’s book author and rancher @wrennharrispacheco of @pachecobeef. Pacheco visited with the students about the process of writing her children's book "My Mommy and Daddy Are Ranchers” and her family’s life of caring for cattle in the flint hills.
Pacheco's book is the story of her family ranching in Wabaunsee County told through the eyes of her two, young sons.
Each of the students also received a signed copy of Pacheco's book to add to their personal libraries at home. A big thank you to @Wabaunseecountyfarmbureauassociation for their sponsorship of the books for this special program.
