We've received information about some inappropriate on-line "games"/apps and want to be diligent in providing you as much information as possible. Our students are talking about a particular video called MoMo.
As a school district our teachers are talking about it with our students and ask you check on your child as well. The attached websites give you good & accurate factual information about online safety and what the MoMo challenge is. As the websites outline, this email is not to create a panic, but to logically address a disturbing situation. We are working to make sure our on line filtering program Lightspeed is "blocking" any of these sites when students are on our wireless network or have logged onto your wireless network on a school issued iPad.
