All Mill Creek Valley USD 329 schools will be closed and allclasses cancelled Friday, October 31 so that students and fans are able to attend the WHS State Volleyball Tournament. 

Halloween Parties at Alma and Maple Hill Grade Schools and the Middle School have been moved up to Thursday, October 30th with times remaining the same.
Junior High Girls Basketball Practice has been cancelled on Friday, Oct. 31st.  It has been re-scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at the JH gym.
Jr. High Wrestling practice has been cancelled on Friday, Oct. 31st and will not be rescheduled.
In addition, due to other conflicts, the MS/JH Music Concert has been changed from Tuesday, Oct. 28th to Thursday, Oct. 30th and the High School Music Concert has been moved from Thursday, Oct. 30 to Monday, November 3rd.  Start times for both concerts remain at 7:00 p.m.Please call your child’s school if you have any questions.
The Lady Chargers begin pool play Friday at 9:30 a.m. vs. Smith Center at White Auditorium in Emporia. Please come and show your support for our team!  GO LADY CHARGERS! 

Additionally, Madeline Hess will be running at State Cross Country on Saturday, November 1st in Wamego at 10:30 am. She placed 2nd at Regionals! Way to go Madeline!

Help WHS SADD win!!!
Celebrate My Drive is State Farm’s nationwide campaign to promote teen driver safety and encourage new drivers to make positive choices behind the wheel.   As part of this campaign, Wabaunsee High  School SADD is eligible to compete for one of 100 grants being given away. Ten $100,000 grants and 90 $25,000 grants will be awarded to the 100 high schools (50 large, 50 small) that receive the most votes of support in an online voting competition that takes place Oct. 15-24. During this time, anyone 14 and older can vote once per day for the school of their choice at celebratemydrive.com.
Please, go to www.celebratemydrive.com every day starting today through October 24th.  Just click on “Make your safe driving commitment” and enter in Wabaunsee High School.   Please take a few minutes each day to help us increase our votes!

The WHS Screen Printing class has purchased a vinyl cutter. Please check out the attached order form to order vinyl decals for your car windows, home, or other projects. The students can do the designs.
