Wabaunsee High School and Junior High sent 19 students to National Leadership Conference in Washington DC at the beginning of July. The trip started off with early morning flights to make it to the opening session of NLC. The next three days consisted for various STAR Events; Knowledge Bowl competitions, museums, sightseeing, a visit to the Supreme Court, a Kansas group event, and more. Results are as follows:
