The Wabaunsee High School’s annual homecoming will kick off Sunday, September 20th, with window painting downtown from 3:00- 5:00 pm. Then, at 5:00 join for “Buff Puff” (boys stand still volleyball in the gym)
The parade is set for Wednesday, September 23rd, at 5:30 pm. At 6:00 Booster Club will take over for free hot dogs for those attending from 6:00-6:30. All PK12 USD 329 and SJL students can receive one free shaved ice during the evening. Fall sport team introductions for PK-12 and powder puff will follow.
The crowning of the king and queen will be held on Friday, September 25th, before the football game at 6:15. The homecoming dance will be held at the Brandt House on Saturday, September 26th from 8:00-10:00 with admission of $2 a person.

The theme for the week is “Homecoming: Happily Ever After.” Students are encouraged to dress up as follows: Monday (Under the Sea: Hawaiian, Beach), Tuesday (Sleeping Beauty: Pajamas), Wednesday (RED OUT-Purchase a Kalvin shirt, link below), Thursday (Once Upon a Time-Princess/Prince), Friday (Pep Club Theme-Disney)
If any business or group wishes to participate in the parade on Wednesday, September 23rd, line up starts at 5:15 pm on 3rd & Kansas Street in front of the courthouse. Please contact Jenny Schutter or Amy Cassell if you wish to have a float. *Check www.usd329.org to ensure events are accurate.
