This includes not only school itself, but all indoor school events. Please help us ensure our students are able to finish their school year with in-person learning and not jeopardize their ability to participate in events like graduation, postseason athletics, etc. Thank you!

USD 329 BOE Meeting (5/10/2021) - https://youtu.be/y7kwjuYRjwg
Last year, before we had to go remotely for school, the K-4th graders learned about and researched the artist Alison Mary Kay.
The students were not able to finish the art, that they started, in reference to her. I held on to their pieces, in case we had a chance to revisit them. They were just too beautiful to toss…
Luckily, we got to work on and finish them this year. I am so glad I saved them… they turned out so good!
Please see all of the art, here~

Liz Seaton, Curator at the Beach Museum of Art in Manhattan, Kansas, gifted USD #329 “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” book, by Bryan Mealer and William Kamkwamba. We are so grateful to Ms. Seaton. She has donated much to our district throughout the years. Not only through gifts but she has donated her time as well, sharing her knowledge of art with us. Thank you so very much!
We read “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” together, in art class. The students then made collages (art made out of paper), with inspiration from one of the pictures in the book.
