AES students take the lead and ask their advisors if they can work on their final project on Saturday after meeting until 5:30 every day after school. Final submission is Tuesday with a chance to win 5K!




Jessica Vanstory, BernIce Poulter, and Hannah Mumpower competed at the regional solo and ensemble music competition. All three girls received I ratings qualifying for state April 27.



Friday's HS Track Meet has been postponed until Monday and moved to Emporia State University.
Field Events now start at 3:30 and Running Events now start at 4:00.

Baseball and softball opened their seasons last night with a complete sweep of Chase County.

Congrats to Abby for being an automatic selection to participate in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game June 22, 6 PM at Mabee Arena on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University.

A couple of more post-season basketball awards we've been informed of include Wabaunsee High School earning Sportsmanship plaques and medals during the state basketball tournament and Abby making the Capital Journal's All Classes 3rd Team, that's the Top 15 in the State!

Pi Day sponsored by Student Council. Mrs. Hutley was auctioned off for $25. Mr. Craghead was the bidding person but allowed the next student in line to pie her.
