Wabaunsee shout out to Isabelle Stuhlsatz & Rhett Parry for their participation in the KMEA All-State Band & Choirs this past weekend in Wichita. Rhett was selected by audition for the Mixed Choir, being the first to achieve this for Wabaunsee since the 1990s. Isabelle was selected after a nomination to participate with the 12a Honor Band, & is the first from our school to participate in this group. Thank you to Mr. Mallette & Mrs. Yocum for their dedication to the USD 329 music programs. Congratulations to both Isabelle & Rhett on this major accomplishment!

State 🤼♀️ update for day 1: Emily went 0-2 while Brody went 1-1 (lost 1st round) & then facing elimination in the consolation 1st round, down 4-3 with about 10 seconds left got a reversal to go up 5-4 & ultimately won by fall to advance to the consolation quarterfinals on day 2
Boys Substate 🏀 tonight: Chargers grind out a win at home over Jefferson County North; advance to semifinal next Tuesday when they will host Mission Valley
