USD 329 Family, buses are rolling out across the district. Students are safe and all is well. Thanks to everyone for putting student safety first today.
The Wabaunsee Junior High Track Meet at Rossville was Postponed. Those track kids that were not signed out, and rode the bus, they are headed to the Junior High at this time. Those riding the bus back to Alma from Paxico, may be delayed due to weather.
Please be safe and don't take unnecessary risks.
We are currently watching the weather and at this time the plan is to shelter in place beginning at approx. 2:45 pm until we get the all-clear. If you are more comfortable with going to the school to pick up your student(s), please do that now. Make sure you call the school first so they can get your student to the office and ready. You can also call the high school to release your student to go ahead and drive home..
Again, at this time, we are planning to shelter in place after school until we get the all-clear from authorities. The buses will not run until we get the all-clear. If your student is a bus rider, they will remain at the school unless you choose to pick them up.
From Rossville about the JH track meet: we will try to run the meet as quickly as possible & get everyone home before the storm; if needed people can wait here at the high school in the gym. We plan on combining races if possible & moving as fast as possible through the events.
Due to the anticipated weather, the baseball & softball games for today have been canceled and they will not be made up. Spring senior athletes (baseball/softball/track/golf) will be recognized at the award program Wednesday morning at 10 am in the main gym.
Congrats to Jenna on signing to wrestle at Central Christian College in McPherson!

So let's take this opportunity to show our appreciation and gratitude for their hard work, creativity, and unwavering commitment to our students' success. Thank you, teachers, for all that you do!
